Why We Do What We Do

Given the challenges that our communities face, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting education in Dallas County and believe that "Education is the Key to Success" or "Educación es la Llave del Exito".

Additionally, we know that many of our families are challenged by a variety of issues, so in response, LULAC Council 272 has partnered with the LULAC National Educational Service Center of Dallas to create an educational series including free citizenship classes, free introduction to computing and family empowerment programs as well as opportunities for community members to earn credentials to enhance their employability!

We focus on helping the community in many different ways. One of our most valued work is partnering with the North Texas Food Bank and North Texas LULAC District 3 to provide over 3,000 families with meal boxes designed to provide sustenance for one week during the Christmas break!
